Where your dog fits in
Small dogs are welcome at Madison By The Sea with approval, and the house is set up for them. The backyard is fully fenced, the outdoor shower rinses off sandy paws before anyone heads inside, and the beach is close enough to walk.
The house your whole crew can share
Three bedrooms, a bonus room and two full baths for the people, and a fenced yard, a screened porch and a short walk to the sand for the dog.
House rules for dogs
- Please pick up after your dog in the yard and on walks.
- Keep pets off the furniture unless it is covered.
- Never leave your dog outside alone.
- Rinse sandy paws at the outdoor shower before coming in.
- Please keep pets out of the hot tub.
Beach days with your dog
St. Johns County allows leashed dogs on its beaches, including in the water, and asks that you pick up after them. Bags are at most beach walkovers. From the house, cross A1A and follow the small beach path to Crescent Beach in about 4 minutes, then come back through the outdoor shower so the sand stays outside.

Is Madison By The Sea pet friendly?
Yes, small dogs are welcome with approval. Each pet is approved by iTrip, our property manager, before you book, so have the number of dogs, their weight and breed ready. A pet fee applies once approved.
Is the backyard fenced?
Yes, the backyard is fully fenced, so your dog can stretch out safely between beach trips.
Can dogs go on the beach?
Yes, leashed dogs are allowed on St. Johns County beaches, including in the water. Please pick up after your dog, and bags are at most beach walkovers.
How far is the beach from the house?
Crescent Beach is about a 4 minute walk from the front door, so your dog can walk to the sand.
Can dogs use the hot tub?
No, please keep pets out of the hot tub.
